Twitch is a popular livestreaming platform that boomed in popularity during the Covid-19 pandemic. This project takes a deeper look into the top 1000 twitch channels over the last year (as of December 14th, 2022) as well as the top 200 stream categories.
This project is an exploratory study on the datasets to see if I could create any viable conclusions on what makes Twitch streamers successful. Descriptions of the datasets and visualizations are in the python notebook. Further conclusions can be found in the project report and project presentation.
Some of my visualizations use Altair which does not render on Github. I recommend downloading the html file of the notebook to look at all visualizations properly.
